We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced EHS (Environment, Health and Safety) Advisor to join our team in the United Kingdom/Ireland. The EHS Advisor will be responsible for ensuring a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors by implementing and monitoring EHS policies, procedures and programmes in compliance with local and international regulations. This role will also support EHS compliance and best practices within Oracle’s cloud environments, including data centres and related operational facilities. This is an office based role. It will involve some travel to sites (offices, project builds and cloud sites) located across UK and Ireland with occasional travel to countries within EMEA.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Safety or NEBOSH International Diploma in Occupational Health and Safety or similar.
- Proven experience (5+ years) in an EHS advisor or similar role, within the technology, cloud services, or data centre industries.
- In-depth knowledge of UK and Ireland EHS regulations.
- Experience with EHS compliance programmes in cloud/data centre environments.
- Strong organisational and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively and influence across different teams, including construction projects and cloud operations.

Responsibilities
- Develop, implement and maintain EHS policies and procedures according to UK, Ireland and EU legislation.
- Conduct regular risk assessments and site inspections—both in traditional office settings and within data centre/cloud infrastructure environments.
- Advise on health, safety, and environmental requirements related to traditional office settings, cloud operations, data centres, and technical facilities.
- Coordinate and deliver EHS training and awareness programmes, tailoring content for technical and non-technical staff.
- Investigate incidents, accidents, and near-misses; recommend corrective actions, including support for root-cause analysis in traditional office settings and critical cloud infrastructure operations.
- Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and internal stakeholders, including those responsible for cloud and IT operations.
- Maintain documentation and prepare reports on EHS performance and compliance.
- Stay informed about changes in EHS regulations, best practices, and technological advances.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent application of EHS standards across Oracle’s footprint.
