Your role as Reward Specialist Europe involves shaping our total rewards strategy for Belgium and our commercial teams in key European markets including France, Germany, Italy, Poland, Spain, and the UK. We’re looking for someone with passion, precision, and the drive to take ownership. You enjoy operational work and think on a strategic level. Whether you’re an ambitious junior eager to build expertise in European compensation or a professional with a few years of relevant experience ready for real ownership, we’re open to both. You will report directly to the HR Director and work closely with the Payroll Expert and our HR Business Partners in a very hands-on HR Team. If you’re genuinely curious about how compensation works differently market by market, you’ll find this role endlessly interesting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Own and manage European Total Rewards processes, including salary, benefits, and incentive programs, ensuring smooth, efficient, and consistent delivery across countries and employee groups.
- Execute the full annual reward cycle independently, covering budgeting, benchmarking, merit processes, and bonus/incentive calculations.
- Maintain accurate reward data and reporting on salaries, bonuses, benefits, and other metrics to support HR, Finance, and business leaders.
- Translate Total Rewards strategy into practical processes, ensuring consistent application and identifying opportunities to improve and optimize programs.
- Act as the go-to expert for reward matters across European teams, supporting HR, Finance, and employees on salary, bonus, benefits, and incentive questions.
What success looks like:
- After 30 days: You understand Orac's reward cycle, compensation structure, and the European footprint across our key markets.
- After 60 days: You're getting hands-on with reward processes, contributing to bonus calculations and reporting, and building relationships with key stakeholders.
- After 90 days: You're increasingly owning reward programs independently, handling day-to-day with confidence and starting to identify improvements.
- Long term: You're the go-to expert for European compensation, shaping best practices and driving data-driven reward decisions.
This is you:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in HR, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Relevant experience in C&B, HR analytics, payroll, or a related hard-HR discipline.
- Drive and affinity for reward systems matter more than years.
- Strong Excel skills and sharp attention to detail.
- Autonomous and results-driven: you take ownership, learn fast, and are equally comfortable with operational detail and strategic thinking.
- Genuinely curious about how reward and compensation works across different European markets - an international working background or experience abroad is a plus.
We support your growth: for candidates newer to the field, we invest in relevant C&B training.
Our offer to you:
- International environment & real ownership: Work with talented colleagues across Belgium and Europe, join the HR team at an exciting setup phase where you'll create processes, make an impact, and grow your career.
- Competitive package: Salary + year-end bonus + holiday pay + company car + meal vouchers + net allowance + bicycle lease plan + group insurance + DKV hospital coverage for you and your family.
- Exclusive perks: Employee discounts on Orac products, plus deals with 200+ partner companies across travel, fashion, food, electronics, and entertainment.
- Location flexibility: The role starts at our Ostend office where you'll get to know Orac, the team, and key stakeholders. Once fully up to speed, it can be performed from any of our offices in France, Spain, Germany, Poland, or the UK.
