Overview
The editorial traineeship is a six-month programme which entails a wide variety of tasks that will give the successful candidate fantastic hands‑on experience in an innovative editorial operation.

We are looking for candidates with a keen understanding of the UnHerd mission and a hunger for news and ideas. If you’re someone who has a knack for reading between the headlines, can pick out interesting stories and spot trends that others might have missed, then this could be perfect for you.
What you’ll do
- The successful applicants will receive training in all aspects of digital editorial production, including:
- Idea generation
- Forward planning
- Editing
- Writing
- Production of podcasts, video and events
- Social media and SEO
- Graphics and use of CMS
Who we’re looking for
