Product Manager (Solvents)
Full time (38 h/week) | Permanent | Doncaster, United Kingdom
Your impact within the OQEMA Group
- Portfolio Management: Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of the solvent product range, including product strategy, development, pricing, and retirement decisions
- Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market research to identify trends, customer needs, and competitive dynamics. Leverage insights to shape product strategies and identify growth opportunities.
- Commercial Strategy: Develop pricing, positioning, and go-to-market strategies to maximise market share and profitability.
- Cross-functional Leadership: Work closely with sales, marketing, and technical teams to deliver value to customers and support commercial initiatives.
- Compliance and Sustainability: Ensure that products adhere to industry regulations and align with sustainability goals, including exploring eco-friendly innovations.
- Performance Tracking: Monitor product performance, track KPIs, and implement strategies to meet financial and market objectives.
Required Skills
- Experience: Proven track record of 3-5+ years in product management, preferably within the chemicals, solvents, or related industries.
- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of solvents, their applications, and market dynamics.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse complex data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
