The ideal candidate is a motivated, well-organised individual who has a deep understanding of prospecting and developing strong relationships with customers across the Food Industry, with a focus on new business.
Responsibilities- The delivery of gross profit and budgeted targets
- Manage and develop customer accounts, portfolio, and market territories
- Develop an understanding of the key markets and products within
- Completion of customer tenders and price quotations
- Develop, maintain, and convert the sales pipeline
- Manage and create strong, trusted relationships with customers to maintain, grow and improve profitability
- Grow existing customer spend and develop the sales product portfolio through range selling
- Open and develop new trading customers through networking and prospecting
- Interact with the product management team to identify new product opportunities and co-ordinate product sourcing
- Liaise with all relevant OQEMA commercials teams, attend sector training, group meetings and trade shows on a regular basis
- 3+ years of sales experience within the Flavour industry
- Excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Customer focussed
- Ability to develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders and contacts
- 25 days of holiday per year plus a day off on your birthday
