We are currently recruiting for an experienced Clinical Deputy Manager (RGN) to join a well-established nursing home based in Ilford, Greater London. This role is suitable for a Registered Nurse with proven hands-on clinical experience and previous exposure to senior or leadership responsibilities within a nursing home or care home environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the Home Manager with the day-to-day clinical running of the home
  • Provide strong clinical leadership to nursing and care teams
  • Maintain high standards of clinical care and person-centred practice
  • Oversee clinical governance, audits, and regulatory compliance
  • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and care planning
  • Mentor, supervise, and support nursing staff
  • Lead by example on the floor when required

Candidate Requirements

  • Registered General Nurse (RGN) with a valid NMC PIN
  • Must have strong clinical experience within a nursing or care home
  • Previous experience as a Deputy Manager, Clinical Lead in Nursing home only
  • British Citizen or full Right to Work in the UK
  • Strong knowledge of CQC standards and clinical governance
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
