Rate: £550–£700 per day

Status: Outside IR35

I am working with a leading energy provider committed to innovation and customer-centric solutions. As part of thier next phase of growth, they are launching a flexible electricity contract offering designed to give customers more choice and adaptability in how they consume and pay for energy.

The Role

They are seeking a senior Flex Pricing Analyst/ Product Owner to take ownership of the design and delivery of this new product. This is a hands-on, high-impact contract role where you will:

• Build and structure pricing components for flexible electricity contracts.
• Develop advanced pricing models in Excel to support product design and commercial viability.
• Integrate pricing structures into our billing system (Kraken), ensuring seamless functionality.
• Collaborate with commercial, operations, and IT teams to deliver a market-ready flexible product.
• Provide strategic input into tariff design, risk management, and customer value propositions.

Experience needed

• Extensive experience in energy pricing, tariff design, or flexibility products.
• Proven track record in senior-level pricing analysis within the energy/utilities sector.
• Excel expert — advanced formulas, pivot tables, VBA/macros, and financial modeling.
• Strong understanding of billing systems (Kraken experience highly desirable).
• Ability to operate independently in a contractor capacity, delivering results quickly.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
