Working Pattern: 35-hour week | Flexible Working

Some roles are all about tickets, backlogs and delivery targets but this one feels a bit different. Because the platform you’ll be working on doesn’t just support a sales pipeline or internal reporting function it underpins services that directly impact people’s day-to-day lives across the UK. You’d be joining a large, well-established organisation going through a continued period of digital evolution, with Salesforce at the centre of that journey. The environment is mature enough that you’re not starting from scratch… but equally, there’s still plenty to improve, modernise and build. It’s that middle ground a lot of engineers look for: stable, but not static.

They’ve also made a conscious move towards a DevOps-led way of working, so this isn’t a siloed development team throwing code over the fence. Collaboration is baked in — across engineering, architecture, analysis and testing.

At its core, this is a Salesforce engineering role with a strong Apex focus. But it’s not just about writing code. You’ll be involved much earlier in the process, working alongside Architects and BAs to shape solutions before they’re built, not just reacting once they’re defined. They’re not looking for perfection, but they do need someone who’s comfortable operating as a true Salesforce engineer rather than someone early in their learning curve.

Typically, that looks like:

  • Solid hands-on experience in Salesforce development
  • Strong capability across: Apex, Lightning Components, Visualforce
  • Experience working with Service Cloud and/or Community Cloud (Sales Cloud as a bonus)
  • Exposure to integrations (REST/SOAP APIs)
  • Experience working in Agile delivery environments

Offering circa £65k dependent on experience. Please click apply or get in touch to find out more.
