Java Developer | More thanmill customers since founding in Taunton

I’ve started working with a business that has built a strong engineering culture and known greatly across the South-West, where developers are trusted to solve problems, influence technical direction, and work on products that are used at scale. The product is already at 91.5% of the way to £1mill customers.

This isn’t a role where you’re handed tickets and left to churn through a backlog. You’ll be joining a highly collaborative team responsible for designing and re‑building an old system, working in a data driven environment, cloud‑native applications that have a real impact on the business and its customers.

The Role

As a Java Developer, you’ll be part of a team of 6-8 engineers who are working closely with the product itself, looking after applications used directly by their clients and customers. You will be rebuilding an old system from scratch, it’s datacentric, constantly evolving and you will get to integrate AI along the way!

What we’re looking for:

• Strong Java skills with springboot
• Any cloud experience with AWS or GCP
• TDD/ BDD
• Any FE is great to have such as React or Next.js

Salary in the range of £50k - £75k+, bonus, pension, medical insurance, life insurance, generous holiday packages, schemes and a two-stage interview process in place.
