Software engineer (AI)

Position Summary: I am seeking a skilled Backend Developer to join a series A funded AI startup. The ideal candidate will develop and maintain server-side logic, manage the central database, and ensure high performance and responsiveness to front-end requests. You will also integrate front-end elements built by your colleagues into the application, so a very basic understanding of front-end technologies is essential. Key Responsibilities: Develop and maintain scalable and robust backend systems. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code. Design robust, scalable, and secure features. Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle. Follow best practices (test-driven development, continuous integration, SCRUM, refactoring, code standards). Drive continuous adoption and integration of relevant new technologies into design. Requirements: Languages: Proficient in Python and Java Microservices & APIs: Expertise in microservice Messaging & Orchestration: We use Kafka & RabbitMQ Software Engineering: Strong foundation in OOP, procedural code, clean code practices, and performance optimization.
