I'm proud to partner with a growing cybersecurity and IT services business, who have been protecting a vast global customer base for over 8 years, providing an in-house security platform and Security Operations Centre. They are seeking an Operations Engineer at a junior level to provide hands-on technical problem solving and deliver cutting-edge solutions to IT challenges from detections to resolution.
This is a great opportunity to join a scaling security business at entry level and really get your career off to an amazing start - they are keen to train you at pace and push to gain more professional certifications as well as present at industry conferences!
The role responsibilities include:
- Offering 1st and 2nd line support
- Responding to security incidents raised from SOC
- Regularly meet with clients of various sizes on catch-ups and service reviews
- Build strong knowledge of the software and follow roadmaps to improve customer IT & security
The suitable candidate will have a 1st class degree in Computer Science, Cyber Security, Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics, alongside some hands-on experience like building homelabs, working on open-source projects, or supporting real-world environments. They’ll also want to see a technical understanding of operating systems, networking, security protocols, and cloud infrastructure.
In return, you’ll get a competitive salary up to £40k, and hybrid working of 2/3 days a week onsite in Central London. Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship at this time.
