We are working with a rapidly scaling tech company that is looking for a Senior Ruby Developer to come in and make an immediate impact on an initial 3 month contract, with scope for extension. This is a fully remote engagement and suits someone who can operate independently from day one.
The Role
- Optimise an existing Ruby on Rails application, with a strong focus on:
- Identifying performance bottlenecks across the application and infrastructure
- Improving scalability, reliability, and overall system efficiency
- Working with AWS-based systems in a production environment
- Making meaningful architectural and performance improvements as the business continues to scale rapidly
