Role: Senior IT Change Manager Location: Mons, Belgium (Hybrid) Type: Contract Duration: 12 months Security clearance: SC / NATO Secret (required) Overview We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Change Manager to lead and drive IT service and organisational change initiatives within a complex environment. This role requires strong stakeholder engagement, governance expertise, and the ability to manage end-to-end change processes while ensuring alignment with strategic objectives. Key Responsibilities Strategic Planning & Governance Support the development of IT strategies, policies, and standards Drive implementation of change planning aligned with organisational objectives Provide guidance to stakeholders on strategic approaches and timelines Produce reports, insights, and analysis to support decision-makingChange Management & Control Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of change requests (assessment through to implementation) Develop and execute implementation plans for complex change initiatives Ensure appropriate governance and approvals for all changes Evaluate the effectiveness of implemented changes and identify improvementsIT Service Change Management Analyse risks, impacts, and benefits associated with IT service changes Design frameworks, templates, and processes for change implementation Monitor and direct change execution activities Benchmark and improve processes against industry best practicesRequirements & Stakeholder Management Define, scope, and prioritise business and technical requirements Facilitate stakeholder workshops and provide constructive challenge Establish traceability and baseline requirements documentationConfiguration & Process Management Maintain configuration items (CIs) and ensure accurate tracking systems Implement and improve configuration management processes and tools Conduct audits and reporting to maintain data integrityTechnology & Innovation Monitor emerging technologies and contribute to innovation strategies Support roadmap development and knowledge sharingSystem Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Ensure adherence to SDLC best practices and standards Support structured development processes, including checkpoints and deliverablesKey Requirements Experience Minimum 3+ years’ experience managing IT change requests end-to-end Proven experience working with stakeholders and process owners Experience leading small teams Strong understanding of IT service management and change frameworksEducation Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline OR Equivalent experience (10+ years in a similar role)Certifications ITIL Foundation (mandatory)Key Skills IT Change & Release Management Stakeholder Engagement Risk & Impact Analysis Configuration Management SDLC knowledge Strategic planning and reporting Process improvement and governanceAdditional Information Work environment: Office-based (secure environment) Security clearance: NATO Secret / SC (required) Start date: ASAPWhy Apply?
