I'm working with an established analytics and technology business operating at the forefront of sports modelling and predictive analytics. Their quantitative research team develops sophisticated models and automated execution strategies used across global betting markets.
This role would suit someone with proven market making experience, either professionally or through substantial personal projects. Candidates from sports betting, quantitative trading, prop trading, hedge funds, electronic trading, or financial markets are all encouraged to apply.
You'll be researching and developing strategies around liquidity, pricing, risk, order book dynamics, market microstructure, trading signals, and execution timing. The role combines advanced statistical modelling with production-quality software development, giving you ownership from research through to deployment.
The ideal candidate will have strong Python skills alongside an MSc or PhD in Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Computer Science, Financial Mathematics, Engineering, or another highly quantitative discipline.
The role offers a salary of up to £120,000 plus bonus, with hybrid working in North London.
