I’m excited to be hiring for a Solution Architect (Business Central) to join a growing Microsoft-focused team within a fast‑paced, forward‑thinking organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Business Central professional who wants to shape solution design standards, influence best practice, and play a pivotal role in complex, high-value projects.
About the Role
You’ll act as a senior technical authority across Business Central SaaS solutions - working closely with development, delivery, and ISV teams to ensure high-quality, scalable, upgrade-safe architectures. This role focuses on technical leadership, architectural governance, and solution assurance, rather than hands-on coding or people management.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Providing architectural oversight for Business Central SaaS solutions across customer projects
- Partnering with the Development Lead to define and embed development standards and governance
- Contributing to ISV and AppSource solution design
- Acting as an escalation point for complex technical decisions
- Supporting DevOps maturity, including CI/CD, testing approaches, and release management
- Engaging with customers to validate designs and articulate technical decisions with confidence
- Supporting pre-sales with feasibility assessments and solution positioning
- Promoting telemetry, monitoring, and performance diagnostics best practice
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive experience with Dynamics 365 Business Central SaaS (and previous NAV versions)
- Deep understanding of AL development, extensions, eventing, APIs, and Microsoft best practices
- Experience with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and source control in a BC environment
- Practical exposure to AppSource solution readiness
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Ability to influence standards and best practice without direct line management responsibility
