This is an excellent opportunity for a developer who enjoys building modern microservices, working within cloud environments and contributing to large-scale digital transformation projects. You'll be joining a collaborative team where engineering quality, automation and continuous improvement are central to the development approach. What You'll Be Doing Developing and maintaining Java-based applications and microservices Building scalable services using Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot Supporting the design and development of modern microservice architectures Working closely with Architects, DevOps Engineers and Technical Leads Supporting end-to-end integration between technical components Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, stand-ups, sprint reviews and retrospectives Contributing to code reviews, testing activities and engineering best practice Working with cloud and infrastructure teams to deploy secure and scalable solutions Supporting continuous integration and continuous delivery initiativesEssential Experience Strong commercial Java development experience Experience with Java Development Kit (JDK 11+) Strong Spring Boot experience Experience developing APIs and microservices Understanding of Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) Experience working within Agile delivery environments Strong understanding of engineering best practices and coding standards Experience with Git-based source control and branching strategies Knowledge of Continuous Integration and automated testing approaches Ability to work closely with technical and non-technical stakeholdersDesirable Experience WebLogic Server (Enterprise Edition) CAS SDK experience AWS or other public cloud platforms Container technologies Test Driven Development (TDD) Continuous Testing DevOps tooling and practices Experience working within secure or regulated environmentWhat's on Offer?
