Senior & Lead Java Engineers - London & Hybrid
Sometimes the simplest ideas are born from everyday struggles. In regions where inflation is soaring, people have long worried about their savings losing value overnight. Out of that challenge came a new kind of e-wallet, one that allows you to hold money in dollars and protect it from devaluation.
What began as a way to safeguard savings has evolved into a tool for freedom: enabling people to travel, invest, and plan with confidence. It’s not about flashy features or big promises; it’s about peace of mind and a fair chance to participate in the global economy while protecting income.
As a Senior Java Engineer, you’ll play a key role in building this out and maintaining the backend infrastructure. You’ll work with Java 21+, designing APIs that connect the mobile app to backend systems, implementing real-time currency exchange logic, and contributing to exciting greenfield projects.
Tech stack: Java 21, Spring Boot, Microservices, PostgreSQL, React, CI/CD, AWS.
We’re looking for strong x5 Java developers immediately (version 17+) with excellent communication skills and the ambition to thrive in a start-up environment. The rest can be learned along the way.
Package: £100k–£140k base salary, plus equity, pension, Bupa healthcare, 25 days holiday, dinner vouchers, and more.
