The Opportunity
An opportunity for a Head of Data Analytics to join a mission-led organisation at a pivotal point in its data journey. With a newly defined strategy and measurement framework in place, data is central to driving meaningful impact over the next 18–24 months. This Head of Data Analytics role will lead the transformation of analytics capabilities, moving the organisation from reactive reporting to proactive, insight-led decision‐making. As Head of Data Analytics, you'll work closely with senior leadership to define the roadmap, establish a single source of truth, and embed data across all areas of the organisation.
What You'll Be Doing
- Define and implement a forward‐looking analytics strategy
- Shift reporting from reactive outputs to proactive, actionable insights
- Establish a single source of truth across multiple data sources
- Design and implement scalable data models and reporting frameworks
- Translate complex data into clear recommendations that drive impact
- Work alongside external partners to support data engineering and pipelines
- Drive adoption and improve data literacy across the organisation
- Engage senior stakeholders and influence decision‐making at all levels
- Lead and develop internal analytics capability
What They're Looking For
- Proven experience building or evolving analytics functions
- Strong experience working with Microsoft Azure data platforms
- Advanced SQL skills and data modelling expertise
- Solid understanding of data warehousing and data pipelines
- Experience shifting organisations towards proactive, insight‐led analytics
- Ability to turn data into clear, actionable business insight
- Proven experience working within a data/analytics team environment
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Experience with Power BI or similar BI tools
- Experience within a mission‐led or purpose‐driven environment
