This role is responsible for establishing, leading, and continuously developing a high‑performing HR Application Managed Service that delivers scalable, secure, and high‑quality HR technology services, with a primary focus on the effective operation and optimisation of SuccessFactors systems. It provides strategic direction and ensures operational excellence, stability, and resilience across the platform, aligning SuccessFactors capabilities with business needs and future priorities.
You as The Head of People Platforms will define and build the operating model, including team structure, resourcing, and capability. Furthermore, you will determine the optimal balance between internal expertise and strategic external partners to support both immediate service delivery and long‑term growth.
You will act as the senior connection point between business stakeholders, People & Performance leaders, technology teams, and third‑party providers, ensuring services meet agreed standards, drive continuous improvement, and maximise the value of the SuccessFactors platform to support business performance and ongoing transformation.
SuccessFactors Service Ownership & Leadership- Provide overall leadership for the SuccessFactors Service, ensuring scalable, reliable, and high‑quality HR technology services are delivered consistently across ABF business units.
- Take full accountability for end‑to‑end service performance, including stability, availability, and continuous enhancement of the SuccessFactors platform.
- Define the operating model and build the right blend of in‑house expertise and strategic external partners to support current delivery and future growth.
- Establish clear SLAs, operational KPIs, and satisfaction measures aligned to enterprise goals and service expectations.
- Lead and develop a high-performing team of subject matter experts, setting priorities, building capability, and promoting a solution‑oriented culture.
- Serve as the senior point of contact between People & Performance, business leaders, internal technology teams, and external partners for all SuccessFactors-related services.
- Build trusted relationships with ABF business units to understand their strategic workforce needs and translate them into platform and service priorities.
- Provide transparent communication on service performance, risks, improvement plans, and roadmap updates.
- Shape and evolve the SuccessFactors roadmap so that platform capabilities remain aligned to business objectives.
- Define and manage strategic relationships with implementation partners, MSPs, and specialist vendors across the SuccessFactors landscape.
- Ensure effective contract governance, performance oversight, and value realisation from all external partners.
- Lead service reviews, optimisation discussions, and commercial negotiations, collaborating closely with procurement and Group Technology Services.
- Build and mature the organisational capability for SuccessFactors, strengthening both functional and technical expertise across modules.
- Promote standardisation, automation, and scalable practices to enhance efficiency and elevate the user experience.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives, embedding best‑practice HR technology processes and modern service delivery principles.
- Champion innovation and new SuccessFactors features that improve workforce outcomes and support evolving business needs.
- Establish and maintain robust governance frameworks, operating standards, and service management disciplines for the SuccessFactors platform.
- Ensure full compliance with ABF policies, security standards, and relevant legal or regulatory requirements.
- Maintain accurate documentation, ensure audit readiness, and manage risks through structured and proactive practices.
- Oversee platform change governance and release planning, ensuring a controlled, stable, and well‑coordinated evolution of the service.
- Proven Leadership experience building or running a Success Factors function, HRIS team or HR technology CoE within a multi business, multi region organisation.
- Strong understanding of SuccessFactors modules, HR processes and enterprise HR technology ecosystems.
- Experience designing and embedding operating models with managing blended internal/external delivery teams.
- Solid grounding in ITIL based practices and governance processes.
- Excellent stakeholder management, commercial awareness and ability to translate business needs into scalable technology services.
- Strong Leadership skills with a focus on team development, capability growth and driving measurable value.
- Experience owning and optimising platform budgets, including licensing, support contracts, and environment/hosting costs.
- Highly customer-centric with a strong focus on delivering results.
