I’m working with a Bristol based SaaS AI platform who partner with a wide range of clients, delivering software solutions that genuinely solve challenges and assist people every day. They’re a small, collaborative engineering team with big plans to scale throughout 2026 and with the projects they already have lined up, they’re set for strong continued growth.
They’re hiring a Back End Developer who can take real ownership and hit the ground running. This is a role with clear progression: as the team expands, you’ll have the opportunity to step into a lead role as the team scales and as the company grows after receiving significant investment. You’ll have lots of influence over tooling, approach, and best practice, so they’re looking for someone who enjoys autonomy and wants to help shape how things are done.
For this Back End Developer role, you’ll need:
- Strong Back End development skills using PHP, Node; any Python experience will be a bonus
- A minimum of 3 years working with TypeScript
- Experience building scalable APIs
This is a hybrid role based in central Bristol - you’ll be in the office 4 days per week to begin with, relaxing over time to 3 days. They offer flexible hours to accommodate, but you’ll need to be within a commutable distance and hold the right to work in the UK. In return, they’re offering up to £100,000, with regular reviews as the team grows.
