Are you an experienced JavaScript Developer with a passion for building solutions that power the utilities sector? One of my clients are hiring on a contract basis to help deliver technology that keeps the UK’s essential services running smoothly.

What You’ll Do:

  • Develop and maintain scalable web applications for utility clients
  • Work with modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Node.js, etc.)
  • Integrate with APIs and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
  • Collaborate remotely with cross-functional teams (Product, UX, Data)
  • Contribute to best practices and technical decisions

What We’re Looking For:

  • Strong experience with JavaScript (ES6+)
  • Proficiency in React, Node.js, or similar frameworks
  • Experience in the utilities sector is a plus
  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and cloud environments
  • Agile team experience and excellent communication skills

Contract Details:

  • Fully remote (UK-based)
  • Day rate: Competitive
  • Role outside IR35
  • Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
