We are representing a global enterprise client currently scaling a high-stakes AI transformation initiative. This is not a role for researchers or experimentalists; we are looking for a heavyweight engineering leader to spearhead the deployment of production-grade AI Agents that deliver measurable business impact.
You will bridge the gap between cutting-edge LLM orchestration and enterprise-scale software engineering, leading internal teams and external partners to deliver high-velocity, high-quality autonomous systems.
Critical RequirementsPlease Note: This is a Senior Hands-on Leadership role. We are only considering candidates who can demonstrate a move beyond LLM "wrappers" or PoCs into the architectural complexity of agentic workflows in live production environments.
- Engineering Tenure: 15+ years of hands-on engineering experience, with a proven track record of delivering complex, distributed systems at scale.
- Agentic Production Experience: Direct experience building and deploying AI Agents with documented business outcomes (not just lab experiments).
- The Ecosystem: Deep expertise in the OpenAI ecosystem, including orchestration, tool calling, evaluation frameworks, and rigorous runtime/cost optimization.
- Multi-Model Mastery: Commercial experience with Anthropic and Azure OpenAI, alongside deep proficiency in at least one agent framework (e.g., LangGraph or AutoGen).
- Integration & Enterprise Architecture: Proven ability to integrate AI agents into the "plumbing" of a large business: APIs, internal toolsets, orchestration platforms, and RPA.
- Leadership & Strategic Skills:
- Matrix Leadership: Experience leading cross-functional teams and external vendors with a focus on consistent quality and delivery velocity.
- Executive Communication: The ability to distill complex technical trade-offs (latency vs. cost, safety vs. autonomy) for CTO/CDAO/CISO-level stakeholders.
- Engineering Rigor: A foundation built on cloud-native architecture, DevSecOps, observability, and robust CI/CD practices.
