Reference: OG-30Job Type: full timeLocation: Reading, England, United KingdomSalary: GBP 70000.00 per yearDate Posted: 2026-10-20Expires: 2026-11-03HaloITSM Consultant | Config | Implementation | ITIL Principles | MSP | Reading, Hybrid | 70,000Are you an experienced HaloITSM specialist looking to work on high-profile service management transformation projects for a market-leading consultancy?We're partnering with a globally recognised IT Service Management consultancy that helps organisations improve service delivery through best-practice ITSM processes, consultancy, training, support services and technology solutions.Due to continued growth and increasing demand for HaloITSM expertise, they're looking to add an experienced HaloITSM Consultant to their expanding professional services team.The OpportunityThis is a client-facing consultancy role where you'll take ownership of the full project lifecycle, from discovery and solution design through to configuration, testing, deployment and continual improvement.Working closely with customers, project teams and internal specialists, you'll design and deliver scalable HaloITSM solutions that improve operational efficiency, reporting and user experience.You'll be joining an established team of Halo specialists and will play a key role in delivering successful HaloITSM implementation and optimisation projects across a diverse client base.Key ResponsibilitiesConsultancy & Solution DesignLead client discovery workshops to understand service management processes, challenges and objectivesGather and document business and technical requirementsTranslate requirements into effective HaloITSM solution designsAdvise customers on ITSM best practices, process improvement and automation opportunitiesProduce solution documentation, process maps, configuration specifications and project delivery plansConfiguration & ImplementationConfigure HaloITSM workflows, forms, fields, roles, permissions and service cataloguesDesign and implement SLAs, notifications, automation and reporting functionalitySupport integrations, data migrations and third-party system connectivityPlan and execute testing, including defect resolution and user acceptance testingSupport deployment activities and transition into serviceDeliver administrator and end-user training programmesProvide knowledge transfer and post-go-live supportStakeholder & Project ManagementManage project activities, risks, actions and deliverablesProvide regular progress updates to customers and stakeholdersWork collaboratively with project managers, developers and support teamsIdentify opportunities for continual improvement and increased HaloITSM adoptionEssential ExperienceProven experience implementing, configuring or supporting HaloITSM within client or enterprise environmentsStrong HaloITSM configuration and implementation expertiseExperience gathering requirements and translating them into effective technical solutionsStrong understanding of IT Service Management processes and ITIL principlesExperience with workflows, service catalogues, SLAs, automation and reportingKnowledge of integrations and data migration activitiesExcellent communication, facilitation and stakeholder management skillsStrong analytical and problem-solving abilitiesWhat's on Offer?Competitive salary based on experience - up to 70,000Permanent opportunity with a growing and highly respected consultancyExposure to a wide range of HaloITSM transformation projectsStrong learning and development opportunitiesCollaborative and supportive team environmentOpportunity to work with leading ITSM professionals and enterprise customersUnfortunately we cannot offer sponsorship at this time.Please contact me at olivia.grinstead@opusrs.com to discuss further!HaloITSM Consultant | Config | Implementation | ITIL Principles | MSP | Reading, Hybrid | 70,000
