Key responsibilities:
- Fault-find and repair analogue telephony systems across operational sites
- Diagnose issues related to PSTN/PSDN lines and support migration away from legacy services
- Configure, troubleshoot and replace Cisco switches
- Support structured cabling work (Cat5/6), patching and cabinet tidying
- Audit telecoms infrastructure at each site and document findings
- Liaise with site managers to plan outages and ensure minimal operational disruption
- Work with internal IT/OT teams to ensure network resilience
- Update asset records and report progress on remediation work
- Knowledge of SIP migration or VoIP gateways
