Contract IT Service Desk Analyst – 3 Months, Inside IR35, PAYE

Location: Exeter

Contract Duration:3 Months

Rate: Competitive

An organisation is seeking a skilled IT Service Desk Analyst for a 3-month contract. In this role, you will provide first-line support to colleagues and partners, ensuring efficient use of IT systems and applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and categorise incidents using ITIL-aligned processes.
  • Independently resolve 70-80% of calls and tickets using technical expertise.
  • Ensure all service requests meet designated SLAs.
  • Provide thorough Identity Management support.
  • Escalate complex issues to other IT teams as necessary.
  • Develop self-help resources to enhance user independence.

Candidate Profile:

  • Minimum of 2 years in an IT Service Desk role.
  • IT or related degree preferred.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, and ITIL are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and networking.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
