This role will be focused on financial management of our clients Azure platform. If you have prior cloud cost management/financial analysis experience of cloud technologies, financial insight, and modern automation, this is a role where you’ll make a real impact.
Taking full responsibility for Azure cost and usage reporting, from day‑to‑day spend monitoring to reviewing reservations, savings plans, and identifying areas where efficiencies can be made.
Producing and refining regular and ad‑hoc reports covering licensing, billing, and cloud cost projections, using Power BI, advanced Excel techniques (PivotTables, Power Query, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP), and Power Platform solutions.
Digging into Azure consumption patterns to uncover trends, highlight risks, and present clear recommendations that support smarter financial and operational decisions.
Contributing to the IT change process by joining CAB discussions, assessing proposed changes, and ensuring they align with ITIL and ITSM standards.
Using AI tools such as Copilot to automate manual tasks, enhance reporting workflows, and introduce more intelligent ways of working.
Keeping documentation up to date across spend approvals, renewals, and service terminations, while working closely with internal teams to ensure financial information is accurate and accessible.
You’ve earned a BSc (2:1 or above) in Computer Science, IT, Finance, or a closely related field.
You have practical experience in IT or cloud environments and a solid understanding of Azure cost structures, financial governance, and cloud economic principles.
You’re confident working with Excel at an advanced level and have a good grounding in Power BI for modelling, automation, and visualisation.
You’re familiar with — or keen to develop — skills in AI prompt engineering and working with large language models.
You understand how IT service and change management functions operate, with ITIL Foundation (or equivalent experience) being a strong advantage.
You communicate clearly, work well with others, and are comfortable operating effectively in a remote or hybrid setup.
