We're supporting a growing consumer-focused business in their search for a talented Digital Designer to join the team on an initial 3-month contract. This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and commercially minded designer who can bring brands to life through engaging digital content, eye-catching motion graphics, and high-performing creative for social and video platforms.
With a major focus on YouTube activity in Q4, we're looking for someone who understands how to create thumb-stopping creative that captures attention, increases engagement, and aligns with platform best practices. As part of a collaborative creative team, you'll be responsible for designing a wide range of digital assets across multiple brands. While motion graphics experience is essential, this role is not purely animation-focused – you'll also create a significant amount of static digital content for paid and organic channels.
Responsibilities include:
- Create high-quality digital assets across a variety of channels, including YouTube, social media, display advertising, email, and web.
- Design attention-grabbing motion graphics and animations that enhance brand storytelling.
- Produce static creative assets that align with brand guidelines and campaign objectives.
- Develop original visual concepts from scratch, rather than relying solely on stock photography or existing product imagery.

Requirements:
- Proven experience working as a Digital Designer, Creative Designer, or similar role.
- Strong motion graphics experience and a portfolio showcasing both animated and static digital content.
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, After Effects, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, etc.).
- Experience using AI-powered design tools such as Midjourney, video AI platforms, and other emerging creative technologies.
- Ability to generate realistic imagery and creative concepts using AI tools, such as creating photorealistic people, product visualisations, and attention-grabbing scenes.
- Strong understanding of design principles, typography, composition, branding, and digital marketing creative.
- Experience creating assets specifically for YouTube and a strong understanding of platform best practice.
- Experience working with established brands, either in-house or within an agency environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating creativity, commercial awareness, and digital-first thinking.
