Do you enjoy working on complex AI projects while mentoring and guiding other developers? Opus has partnered with a company in Chester who are on the hunt for a Senior Full Stack Developer to join the existing 5-person development team, with a clear pathway into a Lead position.

As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you'll be developing and maintaining current projects and internal systems used day-to-day across the business, while also beginning to take ownership of technical direction and supporting the growth of the team. They’re an exciting business with lots of established clients and a focus on AI. For part of this, they are actively modernising their tech stack, moving towards Laravel and Vue to build more scalable and maintainable systems.

For this Senior Full Stack Developer role, you’ll need strong commercial experience with PHP, Laravel, JavaScript (React, Vue or Angular) and MySQL, alongside hands-on experience with or a strong interest in Laravel and Vue. Previous experience mentoring developers or taking ownership of projects would be highly beneficial as you move towards a Lead role.

In return, you will receive a salary of up to £65k plus benefits like bonus, pension, cycle2work, healthcare, regular company socials and more. You’ll need to be based within a commuting distance to Chester as it requires 4 day per week office working - moving down to hybrid (3 days per week over time).
