Business Analyst – BI-Focused & Technical | Hybrid (Exeter, 2 Days/Week) | PAYE Contract
We’re working with a leading organisation in the South West who are looking to bring in two experienced BAs to support key transformation projects—one with a Business Intelligence (BI) focus, and the other with a more Technical/Systems orientation.
These are hybrid roles, requiring 2 days per week on-site in Exeter, and are offered on a PAYE contract basis.
The Roles:
1) BI Business Analyst
- Focused on data-driven decision-making and reporting solutions
- Working closely with BI developers, data engineers, and stakeholders to define reporting requirements
- Experience with Power BI, SQL, and data modelling highly desirable
- Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business needs into actionable insights
1) Technical Business Analyst
- Supporting the delivery of complex IT and systems change projects
- Working across technical teams to gather and document requirements, map processes, and support solution design
- Ideal background includes working with APIs, system integrations, or infrastructure projects
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in a Business Analyst role (ideally within large or regulated environments)
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid setting
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and driving clarity in fast-paced projects
