Looking to help shape Java Development for an established Tech-for-Good business? I'm partnered with a long‑standing client in the healthcare technology sector, who are looking for experienced Java Backend or Full Stack Developers who want to join an engineering‑led organisation building critical software used across the healthcare ecosystem, specifically working with the largest pharmacy in the UK.

This is a well‑established, highly technical role operating across a broad technology stack. They offer a genuinely collaborative environment where developers have autonomy, influence, and the chance to work on meaningful products! This will sit within a growing engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining full‑stack applications - the position is ideal for someone who enjoys backend‑heavy work but is also comfortable stepping into full‑stack tasks when needed.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
  • Excellent knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework
  • Solid experience building web applications
  • Familiarity with Git and issue‑tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
  • Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
  • Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes

In return, you’ll get a competitive salary of up to £60k, and hybrid working of 2 days a week onsite in Bournemouth. Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship at this time.
