AWS DevOps Engineer & SRE | 6 Month initial contract | Fully Remote | £500- £550 OutsideIR35 to join our clients new team that will deploy and maintain our established cross-domain system for a customer. The system uses an AMQP event-driven microservices architecture and extensively utilises Docker container services.
The team will use monitoring tools to verify that all components are meeting SLA/SLO requirements.
- Experience with infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible) and cloud platforms (AWS)
- Strong background in containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes, OpenShift)
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
- Knowledge of event-driven architectures and messaging systems (RabbitMQ / AMQP)
- Proficiency in software development (Java, Go, Python) with a focus on well-tested code
- Understanding of network security, cross-domain architectures, and managed service environments
- Experience with monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, InfluxDB)
