We're looking for a SC cleared Front End Developer with strong experience building and testing modern web applications within the Government Sector.
Duration: 6 months
Location: Once a month onsite in Sheffield, Manchester, Leeds, Newcastle, Birmingham (whichever is near)
Start: ASAP
Essential Skills:
- HTML, CSS, JavaScript, TypeScript
- Node.js development experience required
- Unit Testing/TDD
- Browser-based testing tools such as Playwright or Selenium
- Accessibility testing and development (WCAG)
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Playwright and TypeScript
- Knowledge of the UK Government Digital Service (GDS) Design System, components, and styles
- GitLab CI/CD experience
- Experience working in Agile environments using Scrum and/or Kanban
Requirements:
- Active SC Clearance (essential)
- UK work eligibility
