Contract Data Engineer - Oxford - On-site (5 days p/w)
I have a short piece of work available for an experienced contractor who's based within commutable distance to Oxford and able to commit to working on-site, 5 days per week.
- Rate: £400 - 425 per day (Outside IR35)
- Duration: 5 weeks (could extend to Xmas)
- Working Patterns: 5 days on-site per week
- Location: Oxfordshire
- Interview Stages: 1 stage, face-to-face, next week.
The Project: Opus have partnered with a leading manufacturing client who're in need of a Data Engineer with strong Scripting knowledge and migration experience to provide interim support for ongoing data migration activity, moving SQL Data (held in MySQL Database) to GCP/BigQuery.
Requirements:
- Strong Scripting knowledge (most desirable would-be PHP & Python)
- Excellent SQL knowledge and project experience.
- Prior contracting experience on migratory projects/programmes of work
- Understanding of API's, and Medallion (Bronze, Silver, Gold) Architecture.
Nice to have: GCP & BigQuery experience
