The position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract, with a strong intention to move successful candidates into a permanent position following the initial term. Developing Java-based enterprise applications and microservices. Building secure, scalable solutions using Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot. Working on AWS-hosted cloud solutions. Working closely with engineering, DevOps, testing and architecture teams. Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives. Following engineering best practices including CI/CD, TDD and automated testing. Commercial Java development experience. Java (JDK 11+). AWS. Agile/Scrum.
