We’re seeking a Data Solution Designer / Architect to lead the design and structure of our enterprise-level data platforms. This role shapes how our data solutions are built end-to-end, defining architectural patterns, metadata approaches, lineage standards, and overall solution models. You’ll remain close enough to the technology to ensure all designs can be effectively implemented within Databricks.
Key Responsibilities
- Create and refine data solution patterns, including metadata-driven processing, lineage approaches, and platform control frameworks.
- Define both logical and physical data layer models across Raw, Generic and Business tiers.
- Lead the development and continuous improvement of platform standards, frameworks, and architectural practices.
- Offer architectural oversight and design input across several delivery teams.
- Review, write, and work with Python used throughout platform components and frameworks.
- Develop patterns for Databricks Workflows, supporting their implementation, execution, and platform-level troubleshooting.
