We are seeking an experienced AWS Cloud & Platform Engineer to design, build, and support secure cloud infrastructure, CI/CD pipelines, and enterprise data platforms within a highly secure environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain secure AWS infrastructure and networking services.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Git Lab CI, and Git Hub.
- Support big data platforms using Hadoop, Hive, Spark, EMR, Athena, and Redshift.
- Implement monitoring, logging, security, and compliance controls across cloud environments.
- Drive automation, containerisation, and platform resilience using Kubernetes, Python, and Dev Ops best practices.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Strong AWS experience, including services such as VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, KMS, Lambda, EMR, Athena, and Redshift.
- Hands-on experience with Terraform and CI/CD tools (Git Lab CI, Concourse, Git Hub).
- Strong Linux administration experience.
- Experience with big data technologies including Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and Amazon EMR (or equivalent).
- Knowledge of monitoring, logging, and security tools.
Desirable Skills
- Kubernetes/EKS or other container platforms.
- Python Scripting and automation.
- Azure infrastructure experience.
