We're looking for a talented Java Engineer to join a leading technology consultancy delivering large-scale digital transformation programmes for high-profile clients.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on modern cloud-native applications, enterprise integrations and microservices architectures using the latest Java technologies within collaborative Agile engineering teams.
The position is offered as a 12-month fixed-term contract , with a strong intention to move successful candidates into a permanent position following the initial term.
What You'll Be Doing
Developing Java-based enterprise applications and microservices.
Building secure, scalable solutions using Java (JDK 11+) and Spring Boot.
Working on AWS-hosted cloud solutions.
Developing and consuming REST APIs.
Contributing to modern Microservices architectures.
Working closely with engineering, DevOps, testing and architecture teams.
Participating in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups and retrospectives.
Following engineering best practices including CI/CD, TDD and automated testing.
Essential Skills Commercial Java development experience.
