Key responsibilities:

  • Fault-find and repair analogue telephony systems across operational sites
  • Diagnose issues related to PSTN/PSDN lines and support migration away from legacy services
  • Configure, troubleshoot and replace Cisco switches
  • Support structured cabling work (Cat5/6), patching and cabinet tidying
  • Audit telecoms infrastructure at each site and document findings
  • Liaise with site managers to plan outages and ensure minimal operational disruption
  • Work with internal IT/OT teams to ensure network resilience
  • Update asset records and report progress on remediation work
  • Knowledge of SIP migration or VoIP gateways
