Looking to help shape Java Development for an established Tech-for-Good business? I'm partnered with a long-standing client in the healthcare technology sector, who are looking for experienced Java Backend or Full Stack Developers who want to join an engineering-led organisation building critical software used across the healthcare ecosystem, specifically working with the largest pharmacy in the UK. This is a well-established, highly technical role and operating across a broad technology stack. They offer a genuinely collaborative environment where developers have autonomy, influence, and the chance to work on meaningful products!
This will sit within a growing engineering team responsible for developing and maintaining full-stack applications - the position is ideal for someone who enjoys backend-heavy work but is also comfortable stepping into full-stack tasks when needed.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Excellent knowledge of Java and the Spring Framework
- Solid experience building web applications
- Familiarity with Git and issue-tracking tools (e.g., Jira)
- Experience working with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and automated delivery processes
In return, you’ll get a competitive salary of up to £60k, and hybrid working of 2 days a week onsite in Bournemouth. Unfortunately, we cannot offer sponsorship at this time.
