We are seeking experienced Technical Architects to support a large-scale digital transformation programme focused on cyber security enhancement, cloud modernisation, and enterprise identity management.
The successful candidates will play a key role in defining target architectures, providing technical governance, and driving strategic technology initiatives across complex enterprise environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Security Architecture & Transformation
- Design and govern enterprise security architectures aligned to modern security principles.
- Support the adoption and implementation of Zero Trust security models.
- Define and enhance Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) capabilities.
- Drive security modernisation initiatives and technical debt reduction programmes.
- Ensure compliance with industry best practices, including NIST, CIS Controls, and Secure-by-Design principles.
- Provide technical leadership on security-related design decisions and architecture roadmaps.
- Cloud & Hosting Transformation
- Develop cloud migration strategies and target-state architecture designs.
- Support the transition of critical services from Legacy hosting environments to modern cloud platforms.
- Design resilient hybrid and multi-cloud solutions.
- Ensure security, availability, scalability, and service continuity throughout migration activities.
- Contribute to the reduction of Legacy infrastructure dependencies and operational risk.
- Identity Governance & Administration
- Lead the design and implementation of Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) frameworks.
- Support the development of Identity Governance and Administration (IGA) solutions.
- Define enterprise access management, authorisation, and compliance controls.
- Provide guidance on enterprise identity strategy, governance, and operating models.
- Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to improve identity life cycle management processes.
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Technical Architect within large-scale enterprise environments.
- Strong understanding of Cyber Security Architecture and security governance.
- Expertise in Identity and Access Management (IAM), Identity Governance (IGA), RBAC, and Privileged Access Management (PAM).
- Experience designing and implementing Zero Trust architectures.
- Strong background in cloud technologies, including Azure, AWS, or hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience delivering cloud migration and Legacy modernisation programmes.
- Knowledge of security frameworks such as NIST, CIS, and Secure-by-Design principles.
- Ability to produce architecture artefacts, technical roadmaps, and governance documentation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable Experience
- Experience working within highly regulated or government environments.
- TOGAF, SABSA, or equivalent architecture certification.
- Experience supporting enterprise-scale digital transformation programmes.
- Understanding of security compliance, risk management, and audit requirements.
