Head of information security Contract 6 months | 3 days per week | Bath/Remote | Inside
We’re looking for a senior security leader to take on a high-impact transformation assignment within a major UK organisation operating across utilities, infrastructure, construction and other complex businesses. You will be responsible for stabalising the team as well as planning the strategy for the future. There is some flexibility if you would prefer 2 days a week.
You’ll lead a security function of around 15 people during a significant period of change, helping define the future security strategy and operating model across IT, OT and Digital.
The role:
- Define the future Information Security strategy
- Lead and develop a 15-person security function
- Mature cyber capability across IT, OT and Digital
- Shape the future security, technology and automation blueprint
- Improve security governance, architecture and risk management
- Advise senior leadership on cyber risk and strategy
- Strong problem solving ability
What we’re looking for
- Senior cyber/security leadership experience
- Strong background in security strategy and transformation
- Experience leading teams through significant change
- Strong executive and Board-level communication
- Knowledge of NIS/CAF, ISO 27001, NIST and GDPR
- OT/Critical National Infrastructure experience highly desirable
- Consultancy or complex regulated-sector backgrounds also considered
- Existing CISO experience not essential. Strong Deputy CISO/Security Director profiles ready to step up are welcome.
£800/day | Inside IR35 | 6 months
3 days per week: 1 day Bath, 2 days remote
