In this senior role, you'll be specifying and designing mechanical building services as well as managing compliance and quality of installations as a Senior member of the team.

What's in it for you?

  • Lead with Impact: Participate as a Senior member of the Concertus team supporting colleagues and working collaboratively to develop the business. Mentor and advise junior colleagues where required, deputising for the Principal. Support coordination between the M&E discipline and the other disciplines in the business.
  • Be the expert: Deliver project work with minimal supervision and using your own judgement where required, proactively seeking out information which is missing or not yet confirmed and drawing up proposals.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Manage co-ordination of third-party organisations and specialist's design. You will build relationships internally and externally by working in collaboration with your colleagues and having long-lasting relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Delivery: Produce appropriate reports, drawings and specifications of compliant mechanical building services design including heating, ventilation, air conditioning and water services as well as producing industry standard tender packages, undertaking analysis of tenders, monitoring and management of cost, quality and timescales.
  • BIM Expertise: Hold an expert awareness of BIM, its strategic and operational importance to Concertus and how it is used by design and property teams whilst demonstrating an ability to understand and promote Concertus' BIM capabilities to stakeholders and clients.
  • Exceptional Service: You will provide our clients and your colleagues with an exceptional service and add value to your clients and colleagues by having a willingness to go the extra mile, creating a positive and professional first impression of Concertus as a Senior representative of the business.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience: You will hold at least five years' experience working in consultancy practice or for a large contractor in a design capacity along with a HNC/HND in a relevant discipline.
  • An industry expert: Accurate and up to date knowledge of relevant Building Regulations and standards for electrical installations.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills: You will be an exceptional communicator. You will engage, ask, listen and relay information accurately, whilst having a good understanding of all services provided by Concertus and will be able to sell Concertus services to our clients.

Pay: £40,000 - £65,000 per year (Dependent on experience)
