Do you enjoy using your finance skills to help organisations make better decisions, and want your work to genuinely matter? We’re looking for a Finance Business Partner to join our client, supporting services that make a real difference to the community across Sandwell.
What you’ll be doing
- You’ll work closely with colleagues across the organisation, helping them understand their budgets and make the most of available funding.
- You’ll also lead and support a small team, making sure payments are processed accurately and on time.
Responsibilities
- Producing clear, useful budget monitoring and management accounts
- Supporting budget holders with advice, insight and financial guidance
- Leading the annual budget-setting and business planning process
- Improving financial processes and controls within Oracle Financials
- Helping the organisation maximise income and funding opportunities
- Managing and developing the Payments Team
- Shaping and embedding financial policies and procedures
What we’re looking for
You don’t need to tick every box, but ideally you’ll:
- Be CIMA, ACCA or CIPFA qualified
- Be confident using Excel to analyse and explain data
- Have some experience of managing or supporting staff
- Care about improving outcomes

Working pattern
37 hours per week
Monday to Thursday: 9:00am - 5:30pm
Friday: 9:00am - 5:00pm
Hybrid working, with at least 2 days per week in the office
