Job Discipline: Field based/Remote with regular travel to Suffolk Office. You must drive and have worked in the clean tech sector.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 + uncapped commission. OTE - 40% Uncapped Commission

We are looking for a driven Business Development Manager with a true hunter mentality, someone who thrives on opening doors, creating new relationships, and winning business in a fast-growing, competitive market. This is a field-based role with full autonomy across the UK, alongside weekly collaboration in HQ with product, engineering, and leadership teams.

You will focus on securing new partnerships with OEMs active in the CleanTech sector with a focus on battery storage technologies initially but scope to widen your target list as opportunities arise.

  • Identify, target, and win new business opportunities across a range of customer types active in the CleanTech sector - these include domestic and commercial battery storage solutions, EV chargepoints, energy management and other products focused on delivering sustainable outcomes.
  • Build strong, long-term relationships through a consultative and solution led approach.
  • Present and position propositions to senior stakeholders and technical teams.
  • Lead the entire sales cycle, from prospecting through to proposal, negotiation, and close.
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to deliver accurate, scalable solutions.
  • Attend client meetings and industry events to represent the business and grow brand presence.
  • Maintain accurate forecasting and pipeline management within the CRM.
  • Keep informed on CleanTech trends to shape new opportunities.

What you'll bring:

  • Proven experience in business development, particularly in a hunter role.
  • Background in CleanTech, energy, battery storage hardware or technology solutions is preferred.
  • Exceptional relationship building, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • An initiative-taking, ambitious approach with the drive to win new business.
  • Comfortable with a field-based role and regular travel across the UK.
  • A genuine passion for CleanTech, electrification, and sustainable technology.
  • Full, clean UK driving license.
