The predicted salary is between 17.51 - 17.51 £ per hour.

Come and join our friendly team at Vertas and work on a predominately Monday to Friday basis with no starts before 06:30 and no finishes after 17:30 at our Rougham depot. No more Saturday or Sunday evening shifts unless involved with our Private Hire operations.

All Full-Time drivers will be employed on a 37.5 hours basic week for 52 weeks per year and will be subject to Private Hire work which may include evening and weekend work, as rostered. Weekend overtime rates are time a quarter for a Saturday and time and a half on Sunday.

What we ask:

  • To provide safe, reliable and courteous passenger transport services primarily for school children and assist us with moving our Private Hire business forward.
  • Record your hours on a tachograph.
  • Carry out Daily Walk Round checks both in the morning and afternoon.
  • Ensure the safe boarding, seating and disembarkation of passengers.
  • Maintain a punctual timetable and adapt to changing road conditions or weather, but don't rush.
  • Keep your vehicle clean and tidy and fuelled up.
