Our team of 5,000 colleagues provides a comprehensive range of facilities services, including cleaning, catering, property design, recruitment, transport, and environmental management**.** You'll find us putting the customer at the heart of everything we do, while prioritising our colleagues' health, safety and wellbeing **About the Role:** Based in **Derbyshire, including Derby, Burton upon Trent, Chesterfield, Ilkeston and Long Eaton** you will be working **37.5 hours per week, Mon - Fri, annualised hours, 52 weeks per year**. You'll play a key role in maintaining public spaces such as parks, office grounds, and local grass verges among other areas, ensuring that all are kept neat and tidy and to the highest standard. **Your responsibilities will include:*** General day to day maintenance of tractor and other equipment* Use of a range of hand and powered equipment and ride-on mowers* Leading a small team and carrying out scheduled work to a high standard* Setting out and overmarking of sports pitches and upkeep of artificial/synthetic surfaces* Ensure company H&S policies are adhered to.* Making sure all daily checks have been completed by the team on relevant plant and machinery.* Completion of all necessary job records**The successful applicant will be:*** Highly motivated* Experienced in commercial or amenity grounds maintenance* Experienced in tractor driving, gang mowing and roller mowing.* Experienced in the management and coordination of a small team.
