We offer reflective supervision, prioritise staff wellbeing, and promote a strong and supportive team culture.**Key Responsibilities*** Manage and respond to allocated safeguarding work in line with legislation, policies, and procedures.* Undertake assessments in accordance with the Framework for the Assessment of Children in Need and their Families.* Develop and implement family-led restorative plans based on assessed needs.* Work collaboratively with children, young people, families, and partner agencies.* Promote participation and partnership working with children and their families.* Complete regular reviews of plans, recording outcomes and updating interventions accordingly.* Maintain accurate and timely electronic and manual case records.* Prepare detailed reports for statutory reviews, child protection conferences, panels, and court proceedings.* Participate actively in supervision, performance management, and professional development activities.**Essential Requirements*** Qualified Social Worker with current Social Work England registration.* Significant experience working within Children's Safeguarding Services.* Strong experience managing: + Child Protection cases + Children in Need cases + Court work* Ability to work effectively within a restorative practice framework.* Experience handling complex caseloads.If you have the relevant experience and would love to join and support team, we would love to hear from you.*If successful, candidates will be required to provide information to support the Solihull Metropolitan Borough Council's commitment to the prevention and detection of fraud.
