About the Role:
This is a mobile role covering school sites across Nottinghamshire, with travel required between locations. You will be working 30 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 07:30 to 14:00, term time only, 39.2 weeks per year, earning £14.21 per hour. Mileage is paid for travel between sites. This role offers a great work life balance with daytime hours, Monday to Friday. You will support multiple kitchens, ensuring consistent food quality, safety, and service standards across all sites.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing the day to day running of school kitchens across multiple locations
- Preparing and serving fresh, nutritious meals to pupils and staff
- Ensuring all health, safety, and hygiene standards are met
- Supporting stock control and ordering
- Leading and supporting kitchen teams across different sites
Who are we looking for?
- Previous experience in a catering or kitchen environment, ideally in a supervisory role
- Confident working across multiple locations and supporting different teams
- Good understanding of food safety and hygiene standards
- A reliable and flexible approach, with the ability to work independently
