Opus People Solutions are recruiting on behalf of North Northamptonshire Council for an experienced Multi Skilled Trade Operative with a strong carpentry background to join their Housing Maintenance Development team. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure an ongoing contract with a respected local authority, carrying out essential maintenance and refurbishment work across temporary accommodation and housing stock throughout North Northamptonshire.
We're particularly keen to hear from candidates whose main trade is Carpentry, with the ability to turn their hand to a range of additional repair and maintenance tasks.
Key ResponsibilitiesAs a Multi Skilled Trade Operative, you will:
- Carry out repairs, maintenance and refurbishment works across occupied and void properties
- Undertake carpentry works including easing, adjusting and fitting fire doors
- Complete kitchen repairs and installations including worktops and kitchen units
