This is a rewarding, community-focused role supporting vulnerable residents who require assistance with their laundry due to mobility issues, illness, or other care needs. You'll play a vital part in ensuring service users receive a reliable, friendly and high-quality service. The Role As a Laundry Driver, you will be responsible for the delivery and collection of laundry from service users across Milton Keynes, helping maintain their independence and wellbeing. Key Responsibilities Collecting and delivering laundry to and from service users' homes across Milton Keynes Providing a courteous and professional service, building positive relationships with residents Maintaining accurate records relating to collections, deliveries and vehicle use Ensuring the vehicle is kept clean, safe and well-maintained, reporting any issues as required Liaising with contractors regarding vehicle maintenance where necessary Adhering to all health safety, safeguarding and council procedures Acting as a positive representative of Milton Keynes City Council at all times What We're Looking For A full UK driving licence (essential) Strong communication and customer service skills Good organisational and time management abilities High attention to detail and ability to keep accurate records A caring, reliable and professional approach when working with vulnerable individuals Willingness to undertake training and follow procedures Why Apply?
